Parties clause

In these General Terms and Conditions, “My Paris River” refers collectively to My Paris River SARL and the boats owned and operated by the company under the name “My Paris River.”

The term “Client” designates any legal entity or individual engaging in transactions with My Paris River.

Scope of services

By booking a reservation with My Paris River, Clients explicitly acknowledge being informed that the services provided consist of cruises on the River Seine. Clients accept these General Terms and Conditions without reservation.

My Paris River holds the mandatory statutory guarantees for passenger transportation on the River Seine and confirms that all its boats are covered by AXA professional liability insurance (RC Pro).

Reservations and payment

The reservation can be made by:

My Paris River will confirm the boat’s availability for the chosen time slot as promptly as possible.

Reservation Terms:

To finalize a reservation, full payment for the service is required. This condition is essential for the reservation to be valid. If payment is not received, My Paris River will not confirm the reservation or guarantee boat or skipper availability.

Once payment is received, Clients will receive a confirmation email specifying the reservation details, including the date, time, embarkation location, number of participants, and any subsequent steps.

Clients must confirm the total number of participants in writing at least **48 hours before the cruise**. This number will serve as the basis for invoicing, including catering services. Without written confirmation within this timeframe, the most recent communication will be used for billing purposes.

Included in the cruise price:

  • Embarkation and disembarkation at locations designated by My Paris River (or client-specified locations, subject to an additional fee and availability).
  • Exclusive use of the boat, fuel, skipper, and any pre-arranged services.

Not Included in the Cruise Price:

  • Transportation to/from embarkation and disembarkation points.
  • Tips (optional, at the Client’s discretion).
  • Additional services not pre-arranged during the reservation process.

Cancellation and Postponement

At the Client’s initiative

  • Clients may postpone a cruise by providing written notice at least 48 hours prior to the cruise.
  • Cancellations must also be made in writing. Fees are as follows:
    • 96 hours or less before the cruise: No refund.
    • More than 96 hours before the cruise: Full refund.

Postponement is permitted only once and must be requested in writing with the new preferred date and time. Postponement is subject to availability. If unavailable, the situation will be treated as a cancellation without refund.

At My Paris River’s initiative

If My Paris River cancels a cruise, an alternative date will be proposed. If the Client is unavailable for the proposed date, a full refund will be provided.

Cruises are subject to navigation rules set by the authorities. My Paris River reserves the right to cancel or modify cruises at any time due to regulatory constraints, adverse weather, mechanical issues, or unpaid debts. In such cases, the deposit will be fully refunded.

Interruptions

Interruptions or early returns initiated by the Client will not result in refunds.

Liability

Clients are responsible for any loss or damage caused during the cruise. Clients must reimburse or replace any property belonging to My Paris River that is damaged or lost.

Clients confirm that they are in suitable health to participate in the service. My Paris River is not liable for any lost items, items that fall into the water, or damage to personal belongings brought aboard.

Claims

Claims must be submitted in writing via registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to:

Claims must be submitted within 15 days following the cruise.

Important Notes

  • Departure points include 100 Quai du Président Roosevelt (92130 Issy-les-Moulineaux) or other locations in Paris, such as Beaugrenelle, Champs-Élysées, Musée d’Orsay, Louvre, or Pont des Arts, subject to availability and pricing differences.
  • Clients must arrive at the embarkation point **at least 5 minutes before departure**. Delays will be deducted from the cruise duration.
  • Minors are the responsibility of accompanying adults.
  • Pets are not allowed on board.
  • A maximum of 12 passengers (including children) is permitted, in addition to the crew.

Any dispute will be submitted to courthouses under the jurisdiction of the High court of Paris (Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris).
